    “Plenty of atheists are kind, honest people, so morality obviously does not depend on believing in God. Right and wrong can be explained by evolution, human reason, empathy, or social agreement about what helps or harms others. Bringing God into it adds nothing, and some of what religion calls moral looks arbitrary.”
